About Me
I'm a stay at home mom who learned sewing from my mom and it's been my hobby for as long as I can remember. I can't wait to share my love of sewing with you!
My other hobbies are horseback riding, rock climbing, traveling, enjoying musical theater, and playing my alto saxophone with the Bartlett Community Concert Band. I grew up in Texarkana, TX and studied chemical engineering at Texas A&M. Then I moved to Chicago and worked as a refinery consultant all over the world for 4 years. When the traveling got too hard for family life, I decided to switch careers. I got my FSA designation and became a health insurance actuary for 8 years. When my husband was offered a job here in Memphis, I decided to try the stay at home mom gig. When my kids were in middle school I found I had some free time to try something else. So I started my sewing lessons!
Here's a couple of my favorite sewing projects I've done.
